Hoy Polloy is an independent Melbourne theatre company dedicated to producing contemporary theatre that will resonate, challenge and entertain audiences. While committed to producing plays that the mainstream companies often ignore, the company also aims to produce quality new works from Australian playwrights which engender a community spirit. We believe it is important to present plays which are vital, vibrant and challenging - not only for our audiences, but also for our casts and crews.

Good coverage in the Age – congratulations. And very nice to be recognised as a ‘veteran independent company’. I’ll be in Melbourne on 22nd for the first refresher rehearsal of the silly old buggers and would love to see your show on 23rd. Any chance of you being there that night?
